Forensic and pediatric pathology consultants

I am an American Board of Pathology board-certified (Anatomic, Clinical, Forensic, and Pediatric ) pathologist and CEO of Forensic and Pediatric Pathology Consultants LLC. I am licensed to practice medicine in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

I completed several years of training in General Surgery prior to my Anatomic and Clinical Pathology training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. I completed one year of Fellowship training in Forensic Pathology at the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, Houston, TX. I I have also completed one year of Fellowship training in Pediatric Pathology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, OH. I have remained full time Assistant Medical examiner in the Philadelphia Medical Examiner Office the next 8 years (16 years as Deputy Chief Medical Examiner). I have performed more than 2,000 autopsies and have been qualified as an expert witness in the fields of Anatomic and Forensic Pathology more than 10 times in criminal courts. At the same time I have been working at the Pathology Department of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Philadelphia PA.

I have published several peer reviewed articles in the medical literature and have been a peer reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Chemistry.
